The terms alien abduction or abduction phenomenon describe "subjectively real memories of being taken secretly against one’s will by apparently nonhuman entities and subjected to complex physical and psychological procedures." People claiming to have been abducted are usually called "abductees" or "experiencers." Typical claims involve being subjected to a forced medical examination that emphasizes their reproductive system. Abductees sometimes claim to have been warned against environmental abuse and the dangers of nuclear weapons. Consequently, while many of these purported encounters are described as terrifying, some have been viewed as pleasurable or transformative.

The life of Apple genius Steve Jobs is to be turned into a Hollywood film.
Walter Isaacson’s Steve Jobs biography is being snapped up at an astounding rate by excited fans across the world, and now the inevitable conversion of the book into a Hollywood film is well under way. After Sony Pictures acquired the film rights to the book soon after Jobs’ death, speculation began to heat up about who might be involved with the project. The latest name being attached to the film is Aaron Sorkin, the writer of The Social Network and Moneyball, reported The Los Angeles Times Blog. Will he be keen to take the reigns, and would he be a good fit?
Considering it. The Los Angeles Times spoke to “a person who was briefed on the project but not authorized to speak about it publicly”, who said Sorkin is “considering the prospect but has made no decisions.”
“If you’re going to turn a non-idiotic book into a non-idiotic movie, and the central character is some kind of against-the-grain man, then you can only turn to one person for help with this script: Aaron Sorkin”, wroteNYMag.
A perfect fit. With Sorkin’s previous work, he has shown a penchant for dealing with enigmatic figures, so he may be a perfect fit for the job. The Huffington Postcalled Sorkin the “logical” choice, and it is known that Sorkin was fond of Jobs.Mashable said the writer has a “strong relationship with Sony” after The Social Network and Moneyball, so he could be keen to work with the studio again.
Or maybe not. This project may bear too strong a resemblance to Sorkin’s previous work, cautioned Mashable. The fear of “typecasting” could dissuade Sorkin, who “may not want to be pegged as a writer of geeky drama.” The Los Angles Times article said the project could be a bit “sticky” for Sorkin, coming so soon after Jobs’ death.
Madonna and Lourdes act up in spoof video for model search
She has a reputation for taking herself rather seriously.
So it is a breath of fresh air to see Madonna making jokes at her own expense - and with unusually self-deprecating aplomb.
In a video to launch the search for a new 'Macy's Material Girl,' Madonna and daughter Lourdes, aka Lola, discuss irony, fruit, corsets - and those hydrangeas.
The light-hearted mother-daughter banter is loosely pegged around Madonna's anxiety over finding just the right kind of girl for the job.
'I'm worried.. You know when I first started off and people started calling me the material Girl, it was meant to be ironic, right - not to be taken seriously,' says the 53-year-old.
'I'm not sure if people understand irony in this day in age.
'I can't live that name down now,' she goes on. 'People think I'm like, a superficial person, and I'm not. I love horses, I love flowers - well, I don't love hydrangeas.
'I love nature, trees, animals... I don't love all animals.'
A disinterested-looking Lourdes, with typical 15-year-old teenage attitude, feigns taking the job seriously - offering her mother a bite of fruit instead.
'Fruit hurts my stomach. My corset's too tight... I don't eat things I can't identify,' her neurotic-sounding mother replies.
Lola goes on to scoff at her mother's passé choice of language.
'
Madonna's retort? 'I think you're an ageist, okay? I think you're a looksist and an ageist.'
The cross-generational duo are looking for a woman with 'je ne s'ais quoi' to be the figurehead of their Macy's fashion line, which recently turned a year old.
Vampire - ipad 1024 x 1024
Vampires are mythological or folkloric beings who subsist by feeding on the life essence (generally in the form of blood) of living creatures, regardless of whether they are undead or a living person. Although vampiric entities have been recorded in many cultures, and may go back to "prehistoric times", the term vampire was not popularized until the early 18th century, after an influx of vampire superstition into Western Europe from areas where vampire legends were frequent, such as the Balkans and Eastern Europe, although local variants were also known by different names, such as vrykolakas in Greece and strigoi in Romania. This increased level of vampire superstition in Europe led to mass hysteria and in some cases resulted in corpses actually being staked and people being accused of vampirism.

Who runs the state? Girls
The gender division was once so pronounced that little ten year old Edward VI was made King over his sister Mary I. How the tables have turned since Wills and Kate tied the knot. Now, in the breakdown of old traditions, the leaders of the 16 commonwealth countries, of where the Queen is head of state, have agreed to change the succession laws.
This means that if Wills and Kate have a baby girl as their first born, she will be the future queen of England.
David Cameron, who hosted the meeting, has stated that the old succession law was “at odds with the modern countries we have become”.
Many would say that the scrapping of the royal succession laws, which date back to over 300 years, is long overdue.
Australian Prime Minister, Julia Gillard, said “You would expect the first Australian woman Prime Minister to be very enthusiastic about a change which equals equality for women in a new era”.
The changes were made at a summit in Perth, Australia. The ban of the monarch being married to a Roman Catholic was also lifted. Scotland’s first minister Alex Salmond showed his support for the radical move, admitting “it is a missed opportunity not to ensure equality of all faiths when it comes to the issue of who can be head of state”.
The cumulative effect of each small step we take is a giant footprint for equality. God save the Queen!
GLAMOUR NAMES JENNIFER LOPEZ 2011 'WOMAN OF THE YEAR'
Jennifer Lopez has received the title of Woman of the Year from Glamour magazine. She previously won People's Most Beautiful earlier this year.
Most Beautiful? Okay. Woman of the Year? Absolutely not. When did it start becoming okay to give people certain recognition just because they had a sh*tty year? Let's go over everything Jennifer Lopez went through this year.
-American Idol
- A weird commercial of her driving around in a fiat in the Bronx
The only reasonable project she has achieved this year is her new Kohl's line and her new judging role on American Idol. Does that mean that if Susan Boyle sat next to Randy and Steven Tyler and put out an album in one year she would be titled Woman of the Year? Thought so.
Jennifer Lopez has been mainly known this year because of her public split from Marc Anthony and currently with Bradley Cooper trying to swoon her on dates and outings. There is no reason that Lopez should be given this recognition. The person chosen doesn't necessarily need to be someone who's made extraordinary accomplishments of the year 2011. They just need to be someone who has been a constant and has done at least something to leave an impact.

Jessica Biel Vs Pippa Middleton
Who's in Justin Timberlake'S heart?
Justin Timbarlake said:
"Us American males are big fans of Pippa," Timberlake, 30, gushes to the British mag (excerpted by the Daily Mail) of Pippa, 27.
And Pippa's not the only Middleton beauty Timberlake loves. "We like the Middletons very much," he adds, alluding to Prince William's bride, 29. "I'm going to sound like a sleazeball. I'm going to stop right there!"
Jessica Biel may have some competition in the form of Kate Middleton’s sister, Pippa.
Biel’s rumored on-again boyfriend, Justin Timberlake, recently revealed that he is quite fond of Pippa, and her sister as well, states UsMagazine.com. “Us American males are big fans of Pippa,” Timberlake told British ‘Esquire.’
He also admitted, without going too far, that both Middletons have caught the eyes of many men: “We like the Middletons very much. I’m going to sound like a sleazeball. I’m going to stop right there!”
Luckily for Biel, Pippa is reportedly dating her one-time beau Alex Loudon.
Do you agree with him?

Courtney Love guilty of stealing jewelry?
Guilty or not?
Courtney Love isn't exactly the poster child for outstanding behavior, but her antics may have gone one step too far this time. The actress is being held accountable for the disappearance of some pretty expensive jewelry (around the $100,000 mark) that mysteriously went missing last year. Apparently Love borrowed two diamond chains, a pair of diamond earrings, and a white-gold cuff bracelet from Jacob & Co. for a charity event at Cipriani's, but failed to return the items to the store. Of course, the Hollywood starlet pleads innocent to the whole thing and says it wasn't her fault. Love claims she totally intended to return the merchandise to the store, but before she had a chance to drop them off the hotel workers lost the bag that happened to contain said jewelry. After realizing the pricey jewels were missing, Love filed a report with the New York Police Department in hopes of recovering the lost items, but to no avail.
So the fashion-loving singer was only able to send back the white-gold cuff bracelet, but not the other pieces (even though she had signed an agreement with the store promising to return ALL the borrowed items). But a Manhattan judge wasn't buying the sob story and ruled Love is responsible for all of the jewelry, so she needs to pay up. However, the judge also decided that she may be able to pay less than the store is asking for after further negotiations, so the exact sum has yet to be determined. Either way, it looks like the rocker will be free to steal another day (because you know she's totally guilty).

Yotsuba&! Robot head - 1280 x 1024
A friend and classmate of Ena. She is boyish and brusque, in both her appearance and speech. Sometimes, she can be too straightforward and insensitive, and she counters aggressively in a tsukkomi-like manner if she feels mistaken or made fun of. Because of this, Miura appears less kind and thoughtful than Ena, but she is aware of others' feelings. For example, she immediately notices Jumbo's infatuation with Asagi and uses it to her advantage. She is also extremely squeamish: when Jumbo takes the younger children fishing, Miura refuses to handle live bait, using salmon roe instead, and hides while Jumbo and Ena clean their catches; she is also terrified by a large frog Yotsuba catches. Miura often wears sports-related clothing (such as jerseys of the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Dodgers) and rides a unicycle. Jumbo once teases her by calling her Lamborghini Miura.

beauty in black underwear - iphone 640 x 960
In Western fashion, black is considered stylish, elegant and powerful.
The colloquialism "X is the new black" is a reference to the latest trend or fad that is considered a wardrobe basic for the duration of the trend, on the basis that black is always fashionable. The phrase has taken on a life of its own as a snowclone, and has been stretched and parodied as a rhetorical device and a cliché.
asian beauty in white bikini - iphone 640 x 960
White clothing can be practically used as camouflage in snowy environments, or for reflecting harsh sunlight. However, most uniforms with white elements are used as a sign of authority - dissociating the wearer from manual labour or a dirty environment. In a highly formal social function, the traditional dress for men attending is white tie, or white tie and tails, a white bow tie and a swallowtail coat. Physicians and scientists are known for wearing white coats both as a practical measure as protecting from and showing spills and stains, and as a sort of uniform showing authority.
Many traditional sports use white uniforms for players, such as Wimbledon tennis, cricket, and baseball and basketball, where white is the color typically used for uniforms worn by the home team. This may be a result of the sports being played outside exposing players to direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time.
land of sheep - 1920 x 1200
Sheep have had a strong presence in many cultures, especially in areas where they form the most common type of livestock. In the English language, to call someone a sheep or ovine may allude that they are timid and easily led, if not outright stupid.[103] In contradiction to this image, male sheep are often used as symbols of virility and power, such as for the St. Louis Rams and the Dodge Ram. Sheep are key symbols in fables and nursery rhymes like The Wolf in Sheep's Clothing, Little Bo Peep, Baa, Baa, Black Sheep, and Mary Had a Little Lamb. Novels such as George Orwell's Animal Farm, Haruki Murakami's A Wild Sheep Chase, Thomas Hardy's Far from the Madding Crowd and Three Bags Full: A Sheep Detective Story utilize sheep as characters or plot devices. Poems like William Blake's "The Lamb", songs such as Pink Floyd's Sheep and Bach's aria Sheep may safely graze (Schafe können sicher weiden) use sheep for metaphorical purposes. In more recent popular culture, the 2007 film Black Sheep exploits sheep for horror and comedic effect, ironically turning them into blood-thirsty killers.
