It's official! After much speculation, MTV News has confirmed that "Jersey Shore" star Snooki is expecting her first child and is engaged to boyfriend Jionni LaValle.
"We can officially confirm that Nicole 'Snooki' Polizzi is pregnant and engaged to her boyfriend Jionni LaValle," her rep said in a statement. "Nicole is thrilled to finally be able to share her happy news with her fans."
Snooki, who is currently filming her spin-off with "Shore" bestie JWoww, sparked rumors last month about a possible pregnancy but quickly shot them down. The rumors popped back up again this week, and Snooki doesn't have to keep her good news under wraps any longer.
Snooki and LaValle began dating a year and a half ago. According to the MTV star, he has plans to pursue a career in education as a teacher. He also works with kids as a wrestling coach.
While fans will have to wait and see what happens to Snooki as she embarks on this next chapter of her life on her spin-off with JWoww, fans can check out how this season of "Jersey Shore" will wrap up when the season finale airs on Thursday, March 15.
