A poll performed of 3,000 women has revealed that Kate Middleton is 2011’s Top Beauty Icon.The Duchess of Cambridge came out on top in the poll, with her sister Pippa coming in at No. 2, which cements the Middleton girls in a year of beauty and style moments.According to The Daily Mail, coming in at No. 3 in the poll is British beauty Cheryl Cole, who sat atop the Superdrug poll last year.
Barbados-born singer Rihanna comes in at No. 4 and his Morning television presenter Holly Willoughby completes the top 5, Hollywoodlifereports.Commissioner of the study ad Superdrug Director of beauty Sara Wolverson said of the poll, “What is fascinating is that four of the five celebrity women to appear in the top five are brunettes, which would indicate that while blondes may have more fun, brunettes are seen to be more beautiful.”She went on to say, “Everyone in the list has a distinct look, whether it's natural beauty, full octane glamour or a love of beauty trend-hopping,”.
