FLORENCE – Senegalese street traders were in a killer’s sights yesterday. The immigrant hunt started in the north Florence Piazza Dalmazia market in the morning and ended in the afternoon in the city-centre San Lorenzo market. Florence was plunged into terror as extreme rightwing militant Gianluca Casseri, 50, opened fire on a group of Senegalese street traders in Piazza Dalmazia market, leaving two dead and one seriously wounded. Casseri then drove to San Lorenzo market in the city centre, where he wounded two more traders and then shot himself with his 357 Magnum when he realised he was trapped in the car park.
